Calico/Nash's Cabin Ben and I left from Martha to explore Calico. It was a great day, but miserably hot. Ticks were in full force. We would wind up later at Nash's Cabin. We did some clean up and hiked the area around the lake. It was a great day for exploring. Saw some grea gagliarchives 5 photos

Batsto This was a fun day and educational. I would go as far as saying awe inspiring and humble. Batsto is one of the only historic Iron towns in South Jersey that has been restored, renovated and preserved. Unfortunately the actual furnace is gone...but nonethe gagliarchives 17 photos

Friendship Another prosperous Cranberry town that was started in the post Civil War era. By the 1890's it took off. It closed down by the 1950's and pretty much fell back to mother nature. I felt real empty when we made our first trek here. I always feel that this w gagliarchives 7 photos

Quaker Bridge Road Clearly my favorite location in the pines. Why, I don't know. When I first started researching, I was astounded that the road has not changed much since the Revolutionary era. The road is usually riddled with crossing Deer and others looking for a bit of gagliarchives 15 photos
